CARRIE ABYSS Releases “man's debt”

London-based artist CARRIE ABYSS is making waves in the music scene with their unique blend of industrial, gothic rock, and alt rock influences. With band members Jonathan Adeyemi on drums, Tibet Tunaboyu on bass, Tunç Kuzay on guitars, and Berna Lara Kasar handling vocals and synthesizers, this powerhouse group formed through mutual friends and university connections. Drawing inspiration from 2000s rock, gothic culture, horror elements, and Middle Eastern transgenerational trauma, CARRIE ABYSS brings a fresh perspective to the music industry.

CARRIE ABYSS is set to release their original single "man's debt" on October 18th, 2024, an introspective track exploring the theme of the debt men owe to women. Recorded at City University Studio, this release showcases the band's ethos of feminism and their commitment to tackling societal issues through music. With a sound that has been compared to a feminist video game boss fight, CARRIE ABYSS is poised to captivate audiences with their thought- provoking lyrics and powerful instrumentals. Stay tuned for the accompanying short film, promising a multimedia experience that transcends traditional music boundaries.
