Vølve is the artistic alias of Helene Navne, a Danish indie artist creating cinematic and atmospheric soundscapes where ethereal folk blends seamlessly with neoclassical pop. Inspired by Norse mythology and modern womanhood, Vølve’s music explores vulnerability, self-discovery, and personal transformation. New Single: Les Trois Amies
Les Trois Amies is about embracing differences. It celebrates the magic in people’s vulnerabilities, encouraging us to cherish them rather than feel ashamed. The song pays tribute to three women: a mermaid longing for the sea, a sorceress who sleeps with a stuffed white rabbit, and a fairy who dances alone while searching for love. With its French lyrics and a piano reminiscent of a music box, the track weaves a delicate universe where mythology and human emotions intertwine.

Previous Work:
Vølve’s debut single Enter the Unknown was released on October 11, 2024. Before launching Vølve, Helene Navne was the lead singer, guitarist, and songwriter in the band NOR, which gained recognition on the indie scene, including a video premiere on Denmark’s TV2 morning show. After facing personal and creative challenges, including overcoming breast cancer, Vølve emerged as a way to achieve greater artistic freedom and embrace a broader, more vulnerable perspective on womanhood.
