Icelandic singer-songwriter Svavar Knútur joins forces with sublime Norwegian vocalist Helener Bøksle for their enchanting new single, "While the World Burns (Repainted)”. This captivating string-based duet, part of Svavar Knútur's upcoming album "Ahoy! Side B," explores the profound connection between their unique voices and musical styles.

Helene Bøksle, celebrated for her mesmerizing voice and deep-rooted connection to Nordic landscapes, grew up by the fjords and mountains in the south of Norway. With nine solo albums under her belt, Helene's music blends old folk tales with elements of Nordic folk music and modern influences, garnering millions of streams annually. Her latest album, "Vegvisir" (released in 2022), led her to warm up for superstar Andrea Bocelli in Kristiansand, Norway.

Svavar Knútur, a native of Iceland's rugged north, has dedicated his life to exploring the human condition through the lens of his country's dark history and unique melodies. Known for his sublime singing and songwriting, Svavar's songs of misery and redemption deliver hope in the midst of despair.
