Richard Green Releases “Wrinkles”

Is there a particular ethos behind the single/EP/album or any particular music styles or events that inspired it?

It’s surely my most artistic music project because this tune is the first one of my EP ‘The Circle Closes,’ the second of a music trilogy formed by 3 different music EP, all the compositions of this project are connected and in order to understand fully the concept should be necessary check all the song, it s like a long story and each composition is a chapter of it.

Can you briefly describe what the song/each song is about? If you are releasing an album then either describe the thinking behind the project or choose a couple of lead tracks to focus on.

“Wrinkles,” as the title itself suggests, represent the last chapter of our lives, they represent the idea of tiredness over many years of life, I’m not saying is a bad thing or life is bad, but the passing of time brings tiredness and my hope to everyone is to reach that moment tired but happy to have lived the life we desired..... Tiredness will be inevitable, it is how we get there that will make the difference.

Where was the single/EP/album recorded and who was involved in its production?

This Single, with the full album, was recorded at Elfo Studio, a very important Italian music studio based in Piacenza and my sound engineer is the owner of it.

How and where did you get together?

I met Irene for the first time during the covid time, via Facebook, she helped me with some pop records and from that moment we developed a friendship and this is the project that I created to collaborate seriously with her, Archimia strings quartet is from my hometown and I met them thanks to my sound engineer.

Please provide a one or two-line personal quote that can be attributed to a band member, about either the band themselves or the release. Obviously the more eye-catching this is the better.

Irene Veneziano is one of the best classical pianists in the world at the moment, and Archimia was the strings quartet who supported Elisa (a very important Italian songwriter) for an Italian Tour, which means they are very good...About me, I’m releasing a lot of music in a different style, I have also an electronic music project that I just released an EP ‘Illusions,’ collections of chillout music and another one where I play guitar as well, that is a mix of pop-funky-rock music and my last two singles of this project are "Smiles" and "Happy Monday"
