Ash Ravens “Home”

A heartfelt guitar full of life stories, Ash Ravens’ soothing vocal gives the track a soft, atmospheric lift. The interplay between a fingerstyle acoustic guitar and the lyrical passage on “Home” has a very special feeling in store.

Ash Ravens is a multi-lingual music maker. His musical adventure has taken him around the world. “Home” was written back in 2012 when Ravens left his hometown and partner (now wife) to pursue music, studying at Los Angeles College of Music in Pasadena, California.

Soothing warmth with a touch of melancholy, “Home” has both the yearning and comfort in its sound. Like a ship gazes into the horizon, dreaming about the harbor, “Home” connects to the beautiful grounding feeling of peace and love with a moving touch of loneliness.

“Home” is the Ottawa-based singer/songwriter Ravens’ second English release. The track was recorded under the guidance of renowned producer/engineer Chris Birkett, whose charming vocal also makes an appearance in the song. The music video revolves around one man’s journey in an urban setting is directed by Canadian Bangladeshi filmmaker Fahd Kabir in Ottawa.
