Ratchet Releases ‘Closing The Door’

"What are the last words you would like to say to someone?" An issue that everyone is guaranteed to have thought about at some point. But do we give as much thought to the fact that every day could be the last with a chance to think about this?

Losing someone unexpectedly, a nostalgic time travel, dealing with depression, while simultaneously maintaining high spirits through all kinds of weather. Topics such as these and many more are discussed in Ratchet's latest album, "Closing The Door."

Abstract sounds collectively create a unique world on stage, where Ratchet poetically shares his personal problems with the rest of the world. The album draws inspiration from various musical genres, ranging from "Spoken word" to "Rock" to "POV: Indie" and "Jazz." A fusion of worlds that attempts to carve out a new sound in the Alternative scene.

Similar to Ratchet's previous albums, the mysterious and dark theme returns, but this time in a more intimate way. Emotions and feelings are not only literally described in the extensive lyrics but also expressed in a cloud of guitars where day-to-day sounds are used to create a unique world.

In conclusion, it is an album that dares to experiment and is not afraid to highlight dissonant sounds. Although the album suggests that a door is closing, new personal doors are opening along the way, and this can all be experienced on this extensive one-hour-long album!

Not only is this Ratchet's biggest musical creation yet, but with this release, Ratchet also brings a refreshing scala of multidisciplinary art to the table that he actively shares with his fans on social media!
