Michal Gutman On the Making Of ‘Never Coming Home’

How does 'Never Coming Home' reflect your musical journey and growth as an artist?

It was a bit of an obsession, trying to do things i never did before, becoming a one woman band and playing almost everything by myself. I'm a bit proud, a weird feeling really.

Do you have any memorable on-stage moments or performances that stand out to you?

I live in Israel. it's some kind of hell here, I guess, in a way, to everyone. and as a performer I think what is needed here the most, is to cry and rage for all of us, alive and dead, Israelis and Palestinians. and doing it on stage feels a little bit comforting, at least for me.

How do you balance crafting relatable stories with maintaining your unique voice as a songwriter?

I don't. I'm too old to have patience for "relatable". no time
