Flatfoot Sam Releases “Wetiko”
Wetiko is the native term for the madness of the destructive human condition that has caused so much pain and suffering over millennia, and continues so to do. This song is a defiant but meditative bid to bring awareness to that madness in the hope it can play some small part in transcending the violence and bringing us closer to achieving collective consciousness and peace.
The style of music is called TripField, which is fusion of Trip Hop and Leftfield with a contemporary twist. Following on from the TripField EP in 2023, it is the next single from the forthcoming second album in 2026.
