Is there a person/event that stimulated the creation of "Heartbroken Angel?"
About a young woman who felt alone, no matter how much love embraced her. She was a kind soul, loved to see people smile but unfortunately, the worst possible outcome came to be.
She was my friend’s sister and we all got along really well. She’d hang out with us, if she had the time, and was really easygoing. This happened over 7 years ago.
Can you talk about the recording and production process for this "Heartbroken Angel?"
Recording took place at Robby’s studio, we were playing the “Heartbroken Angel” demo for him and while listening to the Demo, Robby said “We can adjust as we go, let’s amp it up” We scrapped the OLD chorus lead, Robby laid down some amazing rhythm guitars and Brien took it away with the leads!
How does this "Heartbroken Angel" fit into your overall artistic vision
We are a band that has many influences. Every song is a chance to express new and different influences than the previous song. We are huge fans of bands like Bullet For My Valentine and Black Veil Brides, and this song was a chance for us to express that influence
How did your band members initially come together?
We met at guitar center in 2014. From there, we stayed in touch over the years and in 2019, both of us disillusioned from previous bands, decided to build something new.
What role do you feel emotions play in your music, and how do you channel them into your performances?
Our emotions are literally the centerpiece of the entire project. We channel them via introspection, reflection, honesty, and immersion in the moment. Emotional vulnerability within the core unit in the studio is essential for the creation of these songs.
The emotional resonance along this journey led to the most important friendships.
