Emily Mayne Releases ’state of mind, losing mine’

London-based pop artist/pianist/singer/ songwriter Emily Mayne shares her debut EP ‘state of mind, losing mine.’ It can be streamed on all major music platforms including Spotify, iTunes and Apple Music.

‘state of mind, losing mine’ captures her musical vision and need to encourage a healthy scope for listeners. It touches on feelings of loss, the metaphorical tangling of the conflicts that come with growing up, heartbreak and mental health among other things and intends to create a safe space for those who can relate. The EP brilliantly sums up Emily’s chameleonic sound, with multiple different genre conventions, performance styles and writing processes, giving a taste of her exceptional musical capability. It features singles “Love to be Adored” and “Never the Same,” which have collectively accumulated over 50,000 streams across all platforms since release.

Inspired by songwriters such as Taylor Swift and Paul McCartney, she has a chameleonic sound that takes inspiration from artists such as Adele, RAYE and Olivia Rodrigo. Emily has played various live performances. Her music has been shared multiple times on BBC Radio Devon Introducing. She has been featured in a full page spread of Devon Life Magazine 2019, November Issue. She has played Sofar Sounds in Leeds, and hopes to do more of these, especially London. She has worked with various names within the industry, including Grammy-nominated producer, Tim Gordine.

Emily is performing the EP at various venues in and around London, Devon and Leeds.
