Cormac Releases “Take Me Home, Country Roads”

Is there a particular ethos behind the single/EP/album or any particular music styles or events that inspired it?

Just good fun, I'm off to Nashville in October as have been nominated for two awards at the annual JOSIE awards so thought a country song would be a good idea

Can you briefly describe what the song/each song is about?

Oh, this is just a cover of John Denver's classic., can't get close to the original - just yet. (my voice is still settling)

Were there any notable or amusing happenings surrounding the recording/production of the EP?

Originally and for a laugh we made the song very country - really twangy - it was great but a bit OTT so we eased it back a bit (a lot!)

Who are the band members and what do they play?

Cormac - vocalist featuring Henry Facey on guitar, Dominic Ferris on Piano, Toby May on drums

Have you played any notable gigs, festivals or other events? Likewise radio or TV appearances?

Just sang this at Junior Open Mic Herne Hill London
