In my heart, as a lyricist, I always start with words, poems of feelings, and introspection on a page. The journey and process 'Amorous Mirage' was, for me, a profound journey through the realms of the heart, self-discovery, and unfiltered emotional expression. Emotions are always the driving force of the writing at the start of a song, they command my attention and allow a deep creative process to start.
How do you feel 'Amorous Mirage' represents your artistic identity?
The process of bringing ‘Amorous Mirage’ into fruition, allowed me to fall more into my artistic persona. Deeply sensitive and unabashedly honest, it is an authentic representation of my creative identity wrapped in my values of self.
What did you enjoy most about making 'Amorous Mirage?'
Trusting myself, there were moments in the studio when I had to let my mind go and simply channel the full spectrum of feelings. This was a deeply beautiful trusting space for me.
Was there a pivotal moment in your life when you decided to follow the path as a musician?
It’s almost always been a knowingness tapping away deep in my psyche, but a pivotal moment of personal challenge last year made the calling to follow this path impossible to ignore.
What role do you feel emotions play in your music, and how do you channel them into your performances?
Everything in my life is deeply emotive, I feel & I feel. It’s almost like what role does music play on my emotions, and to that I say, music allows my subconscious mind to process the deep emotions I feel being human on the earth. Without music I feel adrift in them, with music I can harness the emotion and share the feelings.
