Allee der Diktatoren On the Making Of “Jeden Tag ist Krieg”

What inspired you to write the lyrics/music for "Jeden Tag ist Krieg?"

“Jeden Tag ist Krieg” is a song about the dangers of increasing division in society caused by people who deliberately spread fake news and lies.

Were there any memorable or standout moments during the recording sessions for this single?

The song was recorded in an old analog studio in Berlin Kreuzberg. Our goal was to record the song as natural as it gets. One room, one band one take and one overdub for the lead guitar. So it takes 6 hours for the soundcheck and 6 minutes for the recording.

What impact do you hope "Jeden Tag ist Krieg" will have on your audience?

First, it should be fun to listen to the song. On the other hand, it should invite the listener to think about who I can trust and who might just be using me for their own purposes.

Can you tell us more about you as a band?

We are a classic Punk Rock Band with drums, bass and two guitars.
based in Berlin Germany. A German punk fanzine described us like this after a concert. „Tight, sometimes sarcastic and entertaining punk rock poetry with a great show and dialog“

What role do you feel emotions play in your music, and how do you channel them into your performances?

Obviously punk is a very emotional music full of anger and rage, full of energy which is not only meant to be destructive but also has a positive side and should create space for something new. new thoughts on how we want to deal with each other. This is how we see our version of punk rock.
