Guns N’ Roses Finally Drop “Perhaps” Along Music Video
After speculation, delay, and leaks, the long-teased Guns N’ Roses single “Perhaps” is officially here.
Taken from the band’s vault, “Perhaps” is a previously unreleased track from the rock veteran’s Chinese Democracy era. Though die-hard fans have overheard the song in live show rehearsals and even had the chance to catch a leaked version earlier this week, the official version hits differently alongside a shiny new music video.
“Perhaps” is Guns N’ Roses' first release since the 4-song EP Hard Skool last year. In a recent interview, the band’s long-time manager, Tom Mayhue, teased new materials and the band’s plan to release previously unheard materials.
“In fact, I think they’re trying to get a single out any day now, so you may hear something very, very soon,” said the manager ahead of Gun N’ Roses set in Paris.
And here’s what he said about the potential forthcoming releases:
“It sounds great. It’s a lot more kind of Appetite - orientated. They had a lot of songs. When the band went in originally and recorded Appetite For Destruction, I think they recorded, like, 29 songs. So there’s a bunch of other music that was left over that didn’t make the first record. I think there are only 11 songs on the first record.”
