Hover Bird Releases ‘Place I want to be’
‘Place I want to be’ is an alternative rock album with female vocals. It leads the listener through 5 stages of grief: each song tells about 1 of them and moves from denial of what's going on to acceptance of a changing world.
The EP shows wide band's musical palette, from intense grooves spiced with caustic synths to melancholy piano and blues guitar. The vocal parts are following the traditions set by Tori Amos, Amy Lee, Alanis Morisette. It keeps the balance between charisma and softness, energy and depth.
