WORC On the Making Of “Walk the Line”

Can you share any interesting or unique musical elements or production techniques used in "Walk the Line?"

We keep it pretty raw as far as recording goes, mainly due to our equipment being ancient ha, but it does lead to a sound we all agree is what we're going for.

Could you discuss the lyrical themes or messages conveyed in "Walk the Line?"

No ones better than Johnny Cash, but with “Walk the Line” we wanted to pay our respects to the tune while making it our own sound.

How does "Walk the Line" fit into your overall artistic vision and what can listeners expect from you in the future?

It fits in great as an add on to the full length we just released, we are working on the second record already which should have some interesting collab's, as well as some different stuff soundwise than the first record.

How would you describe your musical style or genre?

I would describe WORC as some true gritty sounds from Emoji's mind that hopefully comes off as a punks weekend go to record! We want everyone to enjoy themselves and just have some fun let go of whatever was worrying you before we started that first chord and feel something.

Are there any specific venues or festivals that you dream of performing at?

We will play anything anytime, every show is the biggest one we've played in our minds. We want everyone to see our best so we try and bring it every time.
