Wïlderman Releases “8 Feet”

Like a car park popper WÏLDERMAN’S latest single “8 feet” is a blistering 2 minute garage rock vignette on the addictive highs and lows of fatalistic familiarity. “8 feet” is out 23rd febuary on Donut records.

The alias of Bobby Anderson and not your average Anderson. Born into a family tree of musical royalty being son of Young Disciples singer and composer CARLEEN ANDERSON and grandson to James Brown’s right-hand man BOBBY BYRD. An intrinsic part of the fabric of Bristol’s live music scene for 15 years, including stints fronting cult band Fortune Drive in the early days or more recently touring with fellow Bristolians IDLES and playing alongside the likes of Portishead, Willie J Healy, and heartless bastards at the 02 Academy.

Known for distinctively raw, soulful vocals. Tinged with Americana, its lifeblood a powerful vox that doesn’t fail to deliver a shiver. With ‘Wilderman’ we see an artist at his zenith. Bobby and band are busy cutting a swathe through venues right now and recording their first long play after a slew of well recieved singles scheduled for a late 2024 release.
