Tahani known for her old school emo and millennial vibes draws inspiration from many talented artists. In her previous single burnout Tahani had been compared to early 2000s numetal bands and influences such as evanescence, linkin park, paramore and in 2024 Røry.
What's the story behind this release?
Tahani admittedly only draws lyrics from real lived experiences. Psychological $uicide was written about a time when Tahani was at her lowest and felt she needed to end her life. However knowing she couldn’t bring herself to cause pain and trauma on her loved ones she decided to disassociate to deal with the pain. The disassociating hit so hard she felt like she’d essentially left her body, claiming she had committed psychological $uicide.

Tahani records in her home town of coleford in the Forest of Dean. A beautiful town in the heart of a stunning and tranquil Forest.
Could you share a memorable quote about this release or your journey as an artist?
One of the hardest things I ever had to do was carrying on living on the outside when I had already died inside. I need people who have been through trauma and mental health problems to know that there is light on the other side and you make it through the pain. Just keep going.
