SVPERFVTVRE On the Making Of “The Big Dream”

Can you share any interesting or unique stories or perspectives in "The Big Dream?"

The song is an exploration of everybody’s big dreams in life. At first, you have the feeling that things aren't going so well, then there are become more and more difficult until you realize that your big dream will never work out and it starts to fade and disappear. Best to say goodbye and find another fool to put all his energy and faith into him.

How does "The Big Dream" fit into your overall artistic vision and what can listeners expect from you in the future?

In our songs we often talk about things that aren't going so well or someone has risked a bit too much and just doesn't want to adapt. It usually gets exciting when you get up again and see what happens next.

What did you enjoy most about making "The Big Dream?"

The song came about by chance over the beat. We realized that this sort of beat seems to be able to go on forever, with the synths following that beat, played somewhere between melody and alternative beat. The 80s vibe is everywhere. It was a lot of fun to write this song.

Can you tell us more about you as a band?

We decided to found Svperfvtvre after a vacation together, formed and developed our music during the pandemic and after several concerts and the completion of our debut EP ‘SVPERFVTVRE’ with producer Oliver Zülch, we're now releasing our first single “The Big Dream.”

What do you enjoy most about performing live and connecting with your audience?

After far too long in the rehearsal room, we looking forward to the audience at every concert. Looking forward to the feedback, having fun together and encouraging each other. After all, the immediate reaction of the people in front of the stage is the most honest judgment you can get. We enjoy looking into eyes that are in a world of their own at the moment of our concert and that we can take on a journey with our music. The feeling of mutual connection is huge at this moment and triggers very special feelings of happiness in us.
