Sunstinger Releases ‘Worthless’

Following the release of “Endless June” & “Aro”, Scottish Shoegaze/Alternative outfit Sunstinger are set to release their second EP - ‘Worthless’. An EP with a dismal overarching theme of searching for more, pushing for something better but it getting anywhere. The feeling of Isolation and being stuck within your city & your life. Written by Taylor Wright (Vocals, Guitar) & Dave McCulloch - a newer addition to Sunstinger. Taylor had this to say about the track -
‘This EP is different to us. Instead of me having full control David McCulloch came in and helped me in the writing process and the band chipped in to give it the Sunstinger sound. It has brought a new flavour to the band, it’s a bit heavier.’

These are songs sure to appeal both to Saturday night revellers and outsiders listening on headphones in dimly lit bedrooms far beyond these shores. Sonically, while the 4-piece pay homage to cult favourites ‘Slowdive’ & ‘The Jesus & Mary Chain’ amongst others, they unquestionably bring something new to the table, thanks to their relentless experimentation with equipment and working with established producer Magnus Collie (Jesus & Mary Chain, Big Country.)

‘Worthless’ can be streamed online, or purchased via the Sunstinger social media (Vinyl or Digital).
