“Reach Out” is the first single from Yana’s upcoming debut album Journey of the Soul, slotted for an autumn release. The track features Aidan O’Grady (The Pale) on drums and Keith Burke on electric guitar and backing vocal. “Reach Out” highlights the importance of support when struggling with mental health-related issues.

Yana offers comfort and strength with her music. As social media increasingly affects our life, she sheds light on isolation and mental health-related issues that widely spread across the younger population. “Reach Out” encourages people to reach out for help when they find themselves struggling alone.

“When the darkness falls, you can’t find the way through, reach out.” Yana’s vocal is poignantly poetic with a naturally atmospheric vibe. Her voice calls to you as the intuitive, hypnotic strumming guitar eases anxiety and worry.

A drone-like backing vocal occasionally emerges in between the sounds, like waterfalls, like chants. The bends and twangs from the electric guitar add an emotional touch to the beautiful, calming soundscapes that “Reach Out” creates.

Yana, the singer/songwriter from Czech Republic has an Irish heart. The Celtic influences in her music are soul-deep and gentle. Instead of an obvious musical resemblance to the sound, Yana’s music has the free-spirited glance of Celtic music. “Reach Out” is also recorded in Dublin, Ireland.
