Kna-Lo Venge “Don't Know”

Kna-Lo Venge

Kna-Lo Venge delivers a solid performance and arrangement in “Don’t Know.” The reminiscing hook holds all the power that has listeners singing along while experiencing those feelings being evoked, transformed and elevated. “Don’t Know” is a song that definitely leaves you feeling and thinking, as if it doesn’t end on the last note, but it lives on in your heart and mind.

Kna-Lo Venge writes powerful music, and “Don’t Know” is a perfect example demonstrating his writing ability. Touching on life’s harshness that gives out the impression of desert and sand, Kna-Lo Venge blends in the kind of smoothness that doesn’t make it emotional but somehow soothing the edges, shifting the perspective.

His electrifying vocal has the charm that melts in your ear but Kna-Lo Venge didn’t elaborate on that. He doesn’t seduce with the charm but allows it to be raw and natural with a zen-like vibe that brings the song a very earthy and calming yet touching effect.

Self-discovery, determination, grit and the journey itself — “Don’t Know” is about all of that. Every element in the song reflects the artist’s in-depth thinking on that. There’s no anger or self-pettiness or even vulnerability in “Don’t Know,” but it collects the broken hearts and wounded souls in a therapeutic way. The artist/producer is a Queens native but is now living in Los Angeles, California. It’s not even shocking that he has toured with legends from Prince to the WU-TANG CLAN and has music licensed for movies and television. His delivery is solid and his songwriting is more than music.
