Davide Anniballi “Red Wine - A Maurizia”
There’s something really special about Davide Anniballi’s music: the peace and happiness that flow through his fingertips are pure and translucent; the eclectic energy and life within each passage and note are infectiously uplifting and healing. The world seems kinder and softer when Anniballi is on the piano.
Davide Anniballi is a 57-year-old Italian math teacher from Pesaro who rekindled the flame with piano a few years ago. He is currently on the move to creating original classical pieces. “Red Wine - A Maurizia” is dedicated to his cousin Maurizia who has a fierce and vibrant personality.
Closely cluttered notes, fast-drifting passages, octave-wide melodies, and lighthearted staccatos across the keyboard depict a person who is spirited, headstrong with a big heart. The heat of the interchangeable tempo details the fire and passion within her, but there’s also a soft and tender side of this character. Flowing arpeggios give the piece a dreamlike feeling where dreams, passion, and emotions are expressed.
The well-balanced expressiveness and impressionism have a hint of Chopin’s Minute Waltz, too portraying characteristics with his music.
