Repeat On the Making Of “Repeat”

Can you share any interesting or unique stories or perspectives in "Repeat?"

The single “Repeat” represents the essence of the band. Combining elements of stoner rock, and alternative rock with repetitive riffs and lyrics, Repeat wants to appeal to a wide range of fans of stoner rock, desert rock, and alt-rock music of all kinds.

Were there any memorable or standout moments during the recording sessions for "Repeat?"

The album was recorded in analogue and live in Sickan Studios Malmö Sweden, in April 2023 by Joakim Lindberg with the studio’s tall windows overlooking an abandoned old railway yard. We played so loud that we are half-deaf after each session. But, we really wanted to capture the energy and we think this comes through in the recording,

What has been one of your favorite memories along the path to making "Repeat?"

The favorite memory must be when we had been trying to find the perfect guitar sound and finally, by combining various fuzz boxes with a Marshall amplifier together with an old Sound City head, found what we think Repeat is all about.

How did your band members initially come together?

We have known each other since childhood and have played in various bands throughout the years.

Are there any specific themes or messages that you aim to convey through your music?

The idea behind the album is to provide a short and explosive experience of repetitive aggressive songs. We truly prefer the short formats and a direct presence. The mix of stoner rock and alternative rock with loud very fuzzy guitars, rumbling bass, and aggressive yet stiff drums, brings a unique progressive style of our own.
