Poppy Roscoe is a four-piece Los Angeles-based Indie-Rock group best known for their adventurous blends of melodic album-rock and psychedelic genre-bending audio-visual experiences.
"Like if Hendrix was in The White Stripes"
Originally an experimental college art-rock project formed by Izzy Fortune in 2015 while he was schooling in Arizona, Izzy brought the band back together with founding members Adam Pena (Lead Guitar) and Jacob Smith (Drummer/Percussion) in 2023 to record the adventurous concept album “Sea Fortune and the Desert Rats”, a bold and experimental rock-opera that’s an amalgam of different genres, culminating in its own full-length movie.
Other releases include ‘One More for Safety’ and ‘The Devilish Dance,’ exploratory semi-concept albums that touches on themes of personal isolation, childhood bliss, psychedelic spirituality, rebellious spirits, and coming to terms with the meaning of life.
As of 2024, original guitarist Max Meeder and newcomer Dahlia Grizzard have joined the band for their latest release ‘Manzanita,’ a down-and-dirty garage-rock concept-album hailing back to the days of wild rockers with a modern flair. The band is currently touring extensively, with several shows and performances scheduled.
Boasting intense stage shows and intricate stories folded into their recordings, Poppy Roscoe has attracted a dedicated global fanbase which continues to grow.
