Tell us about the key contributors to this project.
The idea for this track came to me at Burning Man, where I attended for the first time this year. I was invited to participate in a project called "Project Awakening," which featured a dance floor in the shape of a giant eye at the edge of the Burning Man Playa. Throughout the festival, this epic structure captivated people’s imaginations, creating an unreal atmosphere. Renowned artists such as Monolink performed on this dance floor. I contributed by creating animated clips for display on the screens, as well as handling photo and video recording. Upon returning home, I decided to immortalize my feelings in this track. On the cover, you can also see me and this structure in the background.
What's the story behind this release?
I had been preparing for Burning Man for several years, but something always got in the way—whether it was immigration, lack of funds, or other circumstances. Finally, in 2024, after a couple of years of seriously working on my music project and YouTube channel, I was invited to participate in the dance floor project called "Project Awakening." This time, I was 100% ready and fully immersed in the process. I even had the opportunity to perform at Burning Man, although not on one of the main stages. However, I am confident that in future seasons, I’ll have the chance to perform on larger stages.
Tell us what makes this release stand out and why it's significant
This track incorporates elements from various music styles, such as dubstep, psytrance, and progressive. It is more of a chapter in my overall musical journey, serving as an essential part of the cohesive story that my set aims to tell.
What was unique about the recording process?
We were sitting in the studio, listening to our tracks and pondering what was missing from this puzzle to create a harmonious picture—something energetic yet relaxing, something that would send the listener on a dreamy journey. That’s when I decided to create a dreamy dubstep section and build the composition around it. That’s how this track came to life.
Do you have any recent or upcoming performances to highlight?
This year, I performed in Salt Lake City at the Das Energi Festival, on the same stage where artists like Above & Beyond, Kasablanca, and Nora En Pure played. It was there that this track was first unveiled, even before its release. The audience responded to it with great interest, and after making a few final adjustments, we officially released it in November.
