Myopia Releases “Mind Party”
Get ready for a deep dive into darkness and unearth the musical masterpiece from future alt-rock sensation, Myopia. A culmination of 4 years of work in their home studio, Mind Party is a groundbreaking and ambitious album for all rock enthusiasts.
Packed with a deluge of powerful riffs, soaring atmospheric vocals and attuned musical moments, Mind Party is appealing on all levels of consciousness, when it comes to receiving and listening to music.
The developed project showcases DIY music-making at its finest, fusing alt rock and heavy metal with elements of shoegaze, indie, commercial rock, pop and even some intuitive acoustic moments. Myopia’s songwriting is a rich musical tapestry, likened to Queen and The Beatles, with layers of meaning and emotion to be uncovered.
Myopia are a British rock duo that are constantly evolving, with influences including Muse, Metallica, Radiohead and Bring Me The Horizon. Formed in 2017 with Oliie Edgington (left), who was just 15 at the time, and drummer Elliot Hawkins (right), they released their first emotionally charged debut album ‘Living on Sixes’ in 2020. Following up with their ardently neurotic single Mad Song, the band has paved the way for a brand new era of dynamic sounds and aesthetics, as they unleash their second studio album Mind Party.
