Jesse Kinch On the Making Of “Shout it Louder (Save Your Sons And Daughters)”

Could you discuss the lyrical themes or messages conveyed in "Shout it Louder (Save Your Sons And Daughters)?"

It is my belief and it is evident that there is a purposeful sabotage of
America and the rest of Western society as well. I think there are many that get the hint of what's going on behind the scenes. This song is basically a warning to humanity about a possible future and telling everyone to wake up.

Can you talk about the recording and production process for "Shout it Louder (Save Your Sons And Daughters)?"

The recording of my song was taken from a live performance that we did in Salinas, California. That is what I feel makes everything more authentic. Of course I did post production and mixing at my home studio but the essence of the recording is live and natural feeling.

What impact do you hope this song will have on your audience?

I feel that it is up to the listener to try and understand what many people already feel. This song is basically my own thoughts about what's going on and hopefully my message in the song can resonate with those who feel the same way about the state of our society.

How did you first become interested in music, and when did you start playing your instrument or singing?

I have been playing guitar, singing and writing since I was a child. I've had ups and downs in this business. Success in all ways. I love what I do and as my fans know I am back from a major challenge healthier and better than ever.

Can you pinpoint a specific moment when you realized you wanted to pursue music as a career?

It's hard to explain but I knew at a young age knew exactly who I was, what I wanted to do, understood that I had a musical ability beyond my understanding and also quickly understood the responsibility of maintaining my voice and my guitar playing. I did have my own intuition and conscience. I also had very supportive parents who gave me every opportunity to embellish my abilities and let me know that anything is possible in this world through validating all the good things I already knew/felt inside about myself. My self belief and the help of my parent’s guidance made me feel confident about going out and performing my songs live.
