How does "Jump" reflect your musical journey and growth as an artist?

From a song writing/overall production perspective, this song is miles beyond what I had created in the past. It’s a culmination of years of trial and error that lead me to where I’m at now. I have an incredible team that believes in the music and me as an artist.

Could you discuss the lyrical themes or messages conveyed in this song?

“Jump” is about being stuck in a tumultuous relationship filled with high highs and low lows. The line that I always go back to is “if we were on the edge and know we can’t be fixed after we burned that bridge then tell me will you jump”. I feel like that metaphor best describes the emotion conveyed by the song.

What did you enjoy most about making "Jump?"

“Jump” was such a fun song to make, it was the first song I had done with my producer (Bill Gerrity) and songwriters (Brandon Stewart and Daniel Geraghty). Those guys are awesome, and they busted out an amazing track for me to write on. I mean the blue print/“bones” of the song was done in the first day. I knew it was the start of a long relationship.

Can you share a bit about your musical background and the journey that led you to where you are today?

I started playing drums at around 5/6 years old. Once I got to high school I got into sound mixing/production, I bought a mixing board and started from there. Fast forward, sometime in 2020 I started a metal-core band with a friend of mine that lasted a couple years we made an album and started building some momentum. After my short stint in the group during the end of 2022 I started working with my new producer making “Jump”. I am so beyond stoked to be where I’m at now, and see what I’ll create next.

Looking ahead, what are your long-term goals and aspirations as a musician?

Looking forward the goal is to create music that makes people feel something. I remember the feeling I got when I first heard a role model of mine performing live at a show and feeling like it was the best moment ever. I aspire to create that for someone someday.
