H3RO Releases “Fake It Till You Make It”

Hello guys! This song was meant as a direct slight to the culture of hip hop (and more than likely outside of this genre as well) that creates this persona of being successful before they actually achieve individual success, generally in an attempt to fool their audience into thinking they are more successful than they are. From fake jewelry to cars that belong to their moms, all the way to fake views, streams, and followers. The pressure for an artist trying to work in this environment might even force them to resort to the same to keep up, making it a very interesting discussion that nobody wants to discuss—even when it’s staring us dead in the face every single day. We hope you enjoy it and the video, and stay tuned for more new music coming soon!

“Fake It Till You Make It” is the first single from South Carolina-Based Emcee H3RO’s upcoming project, ‘Zero to H3RO,’ which is the story of an artists grips with accidental fame and fortune as a result of the current state of social media and internet culture. The song touches on the concept of boasting and bragging until it becomes a reality—for some artists, it means faking appearances to views and followers and beyond.
