From The Other Side “Toxic Heart”

“Toxic Heart” is probably the best release the Melbourne-based post-punk five-piece, From The Other Side, released so far. Gritty and heavy, soaring and distorted, “Toxic Heart” is a massive and impactful emergence of pop punk and metal. With the nod from Blink-182, Paramore, and acts alike, this crunching and hard-hitting track sees the band stretching out its range.

There hasn’t been a song like “Toxic Heart” before from the hit-makers, which only makes the latest song even more intriguing. Captivating storytelling meets frontwoman Jess Rose’s powerhouse vocal, then splashing metallic sparks in the storms of percussion. But at the same time, the background vocals give the song a sensitive, burningly emotive note, providing a heartbreakingly powerful harmony ringing along the guitars.

From The Other Side features Marc on bass, Paul and Giacamo on guitar, and Jonah on drums. With only three releases, the band had garnered over 40,000 organic streams on Spotify. Bare in mind, they are just getting started, and “Toxic Heart” sees them reaching even higher.
