FATEFROMMARS Releases “PRADA BAG”

Can you briefly describe what the song/each song is about? If you are releasing an album then either describe the thinking behind the project or choose a couple of lead tracks to focus on.

This song is about the never ending desire individuals seem to have to f*ck up people’s lives! evil intent is real and I wanted to write this song as a warning to those targeting me that i may be affected by them, but I will never be shut down by negative behavior and weirdo people.

Is there a particular ethos behind the single/EP/album or any particular music styles or events that inspired it?

Im not new to experiencing lost, but this year I’ve felt the most overwhelmed and disappointed by it. I used this song as therapy during this time when it feels I have to remove people left and right. I also felt inspired by sensual pop sounds that have that alternative grit.

Where was the single/EP/album recorded and who was involved in its production?

This single was recorded independently by myself in my room, where i wrote, mixed, and mastered the track using just Audacity and SoundCloud :)

Who are the band members and what do they play?

FATEFROMMARS is a multidisciplinary artist and singer/songwriter

Are there any other interesting or amusing happenings – no matter how small – that the band have been involved with that would be of interest to those who like your music?

FATEFROMMARS has been apart of the underground community for a few years and has experienced quite a lot. They’ve curated two events within the last two years with the theme of bringing new listeners to new artists through utilizing community outreach. They’ve also collaborated with artist Chloe Chaidez and their label PSY Sound in an effort to combine East and West Coast audiences, and taking the time to connect with artists like BEHWAH and Sugar Pit. More recently, FFM has been collaborating with the NYC scene as well, with a feature on rising artist RILLYRIL’s upcoming project, and with their recent work on label Gallery Records for their project HORTUS VOLUPTATIS
