What was the creative process like for this particular song?

It is a song that I have been singing a lot and just tried to tell the story through my lens and in my voice while trying to pay homage to the original.

How did you work with the producer or engineers to bring your vision for "Sometimes" to life?

We always discuss how to honor the original song while Edie-ifying it. And striking a balance.

What has been one of your most favorite memories along the path to making "sometimes?"

I think it is when my parent’s generation who remember the song, when they share how they feel about the cover and I feel really proud that it speaks to them.

How did you get started in music, and what inspired you to become a singer-songwriter?

My Abuela is a Nicaraguan opera singer. She is 96 years old now and we still sing together. I think it is in the DNA.

Are there any upcoming projects or releases that you're particularly excited about?

I am doing a couple of intimate shows at local venues like Licorice Pizza, the Mint and Genghis Cohen to begin to get reps in for performing these songs live since the concentration to date has been so focused on recording in the studio and releasing music steadily.
