Folk/Americana artist Craig Gould releases his high-released debut album Songs from the Campfire in partnership with Campaign Against Living Miserably. With brilliant and intimate storytelling drawing comparisons to many music great in the history, the debut album from one of BBC Introducing “hottest artist in UK” is a work of art. Inspired by Gould’s own journey of recovering from severe mental health illness, the songs on the record celebrates strength and empathy.

Vulnerability doesn’t come easy, but Gould was not afraid to open up about the hardest time in his life in Songs from the Campfire. The record essentially transforms his hardship into inspiring storytellings that help shed lights on mental health issues and encourage conversations around the topic.

As an independent artist, Gould manages to achieve the impossible with Songs from the Campfire. With a roster of 20 artists across many industries, the project also received support from 80 donors. Impactful storytelling meets honest songwriting and intricate soundscapes have helped Gould win many hearts. Sprinkled across the records, his songs are being shared and featured on numerous blogs, playlists, and radio stations.

All profits made from the record are donated to CALM to help those in need.
