Carson Aday Releases “Fade Away”

Can you briefly describe what the song/each song is about?

“Fade Away” was written about Carson's fear of losing his Christian faith as his career grows and develops. In an industry filled with addiction and ego-centrism, Carson holds tight to his family and friends who whisper "don't fade away" amidst the pulling tides.

Were there any notable or amusing happenings surrounding the recording/production of the EP?

As above, list whatever might be of relevance. After the 3rd day of recording, Tanner Lockhart, a hired cinematographer to document the recording, came into the studio wide-eyed and terrified. After collecting himself, Lockhart tells the band about his encounter with a man-sized bird in the woods outside the studio. Imagining an eldritch bird man, the band freaks out, not wanting to leave until they were sure Kurt Cobird had left.

Please provide a one or two-line personal quote that can be attributed to a band member, about either the band themselves or the release. Obviously the more eye-catching this is the better.

"Fade Away" reflects the state of my heart as I grow and develop my artistry.

Who are the band members and what do they play?

Carson Aday's multi-instrumental abilities have equipped him to write and record songs independently, however, Carson employed drummer Jonathan Peace and bassist Payton Seiler to input and track parts for "Fade Away", the young artist's latest single. Alongside the influence of producers Nick Tveitbakk and Scott Ayers, Fade Away's retro sound came from the collective soul of these musicians at Pachyderm Studios in Cannon Falls, MN.

How and where did you get together?

Carson Aday started writing music at the age of 18. Two years after first starting to learn the piano, and quickly being thrown headfirst into a season of competing internationally in classical piano, the young artist branched out into other genres. His continually growing passion for Jazz, Indie Rock, Pop, and Opera influenced his writing style as he developed his sound with the line of multi-platinum, grammy-winning producers he's collaborated with.
