In Ava’s words, “The song captures the pain of losing pieces of childhood that once felt like magic, while still holding onto hope and wonder, even when the world feels a little less magical. Writing this song helped me make peace with the parts of myself I’ve had to let go, while keeping a piece of that hopeful, younger me alive.”
