Artist Spotlight: Meet Skybreezyo
What was the initial spark or idea that led to the creation of "Alarm?"
The idea behind “Alarm” came to me when I was in a moment of hustle—like when you feel that internal alert telling you to stay sharp and push forward. I wanted to capture that feeling of urgency and determination and turn it into something people could vibe with.
How do you feel "Alarm" represents your artistic identity?
To be honest, “Alarm” is me in a nutshell. It’s got that raw, in-your-face energy but still has layers to it, like the way I approach life and music. I’m all about pushing through and standing out, and this track says just that. It shows people I’m not here to follow trends—I’m here to carve my path.
What did you enjoy most about making this single?
What I loved most was just vibing in the studio and pushing the sound in new directions.
Can you tell us more about you as an artist?
I go by SkyBreezyOP, and my goal is to bring stories that hit home with people. I’m all about making music that’s real and relatable, with a sound that’s different from what you hear out there. I’ve been influenced by artists who break the mold, and I bring that same vibe to what I do.
Can you walk us through your creative process when writing and composing music?
For me, it all starts with the beat. I play different ones until something hits me. Then I’ll freestyle some lines, see what sticks, and build from there. Once I’ve got some solid verses, I make sure the energy in the recording is just right. After that, it’s all about tweaking and perfecting it until it hits the way I want.
