How and where did you get together?
Agent Of Kaos (AOK) was started by Joel Hills in 2023 in St Pete Florida
Have you played any notable gigs, festivals or other events? Likewise radio or TV appearances?
Prior to forming AOK, Joel played up and down the east under a different moniker for close to 14 years with four different mid-Atlantic residencies. However, to start the AOK project correctly, his sole focus was on production for the first year and a half. That was until mid-2024, where he is now looking to take his creations to DJ live for electronic music fans everywhere
Where was the single/EP/album recorded and who was involved in its production?
This single was recorded in AOK's personal studio and he brough in the artist Kaos Kitty to work with him on the initial design of it.
Is there a particular ethos behind the single/EP/album or any particular music styles or events that inspired it?
The song was made almost exactly a year after both him and Kaos Kitty were made homeless by her family when they were offered a place to stay with them, right after she had a large corporate employer try to ruin her career for bringing up ethics and morality questions. The here family threw them out on the street simply because the Aunt was a sociopath and tried to control them. They got through it and wanted to make a song about letting go of trauma, people, experiences, events, things that could hold you back from being your best self on your highest timeline. “Letting Go” was born from letting go of that experience!

If you aren't letting go of the negative things in your life, they will continue to pull you down, like a weight in the ocean. Negativity, in all forms, is a heavy load. Once you let it go, things become light and easy, like you're stepping on clouds.
