‘Ahsoka’ Brings Back Hayden Christensen’s Anakin Skywalker in New Trailer

Ahsoka’s new trailer titled “Force” teases the return of Hayden Christensen’s Anakin Skywalker.

Disney+’s new trailer for the upcoming Star Wars series, Ahsoka, brings back Anakin Skywalker. In the trailer, he is heard giving his padawan Ahsoka advice while a shot from last year’s Obi-Wan Kenobi flashes across the screen.

Anakin Skywalker was Ahsoka Tano’s mentor before he turned to the dark side in the events of Star Wars: Revenge Of The Sith. The series will follow Ahsoka’s footsteps as she part ways with the Jedi to follow her own path in search of the villain Thrawn (Lars Mikkelsen). During her journey, she is joined by familiar allies such as rebel general Hera Syndulla and Mandalorian graffiti artist Sabine Wren.

“In this war, you will face more than just droids. As your master, it’s my responsibility to prepare you. I won’t always be there to look out for you. Don’t be afraid, trust your instincts. I know you can do this, Ahsoka,” Anakin says in the new trailer.

It’s unclear how much Christensen we’ll expect to see in the upcoming series, but hopefully, there will be some new footage.

Last year, Christensen returned to the Star Wars franchise as Anakin Skywalker alongside Ewan McGregor in Disney+’s Obi-Wan Kenobi series. It was the first time both actors had returned on-screen to the franchise since 2005’s Revenge Of The Sith. In 2019, Christensen appeared shortly through a voice cameo in The Rise of Skywalker.

Ahsoka will come to Disney+ on August 23.
