Paramore has canceled the last two remaining live gigs on the North American tour.

After postponing four live shows and attempting to fulfill two, frontwoman Hayley Williams announced that they would have to pull the plug.

Williams fell ill during the Houston gig. She later revealed that she was suffering from a lung infection. Although the group tried to finish the tour by playing two of the four affected dates — San Francisco on Monday and Seattle last night, the singer said that she realized finishing the tour “is now going to come at a detriment” to her health, and she, unfortunately, had to cancel.

Paramore was scheduled to play at Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Portland on Thursday, Aug. 10, and Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Sunday, Aug 13. The frontwoman has confirmed that both were canceled.

“Hey everybody, we just got off stage in Seattle. After speaking with our team and my doc, I know that trying to finish this tour is now going to come at a detriment to my health,” Williams informed fans on her Instagram last night.

“After my lung infection forced us to postpone 4 shows, I was hoping a week off of performing and a strict medicine routine would allow my body to heal enough to finish off this tour strong.” Paramore wrote on X (Twitter).

“I have been doing everything I can to fight this infection so we wouldn’t have to disappoint anyone with more news of postponements and cancellations. After struggling through the last few shows and consulting with my doctor, we are unfortunately realizing that it’s past the point of wanting to push through to put on a good show for all of you. I’m now risking long term damage and I need to pay attention to my body with that in mind and with a heavy heart, we have to cancel our remaining shows in both Portland and Salt Lake City.

Refunds will be available at point of purchase. We are so sorry to all of you who were so patient with us as we rescheduled these and likely rearranged travel plans to still come out. I physically can not go on. I know this isn’t great news for anyone. Thank you so much for your continued support.”

Next May, Paramore will join Taylor Swift as a supporting act on the Eras Tour across the UK and Europe.
