Nirvana Reissue ‘In Utero’ With 53 Unreleased Tracks
In Utero is turning 30 this year. The third Nirvana album marked the beginning of an end. Kurt Cobain died eight months after its release and cemented it as the final release from Nirvana. On its 30th anniversary, Universal Music is reissuing Super Deluxe box sets of the whole album plus 53 unreleased tracks collected from outtakes and two full concerts from Los Angeles and Seattle.
The album’s original twelve songs, five bonus tracks, and B-sides have been newly remastered. Veteran producer and engineer Jack Endino, the original captain who produced the band’s 1988 debut Bleach reconstructed the live tracks.
The Super Deluxe collection will be available exclusively at uDiscovermusic.com and SoundoVinyl.com on Oct. 27 and is only limited to 3000 units worldwide.
