A New Guns N’ Roses Single May Arrive Sooner Than You Think
Since their four-track EP in 2022, the rock n roll veteran Guns N’ Roses are speculated to be working on new material. The good news is, a new single with a similar sound to their hit debut album Appetite For Destruction, may be arriving a lot sooner than expected. The band’s longtime production manager, Tom Mayhue recently spoke about their plan ahead of the Paris show.
“It sounds great. It’s a lot more kind of Appetite -orientated,” Mayhue teased. “They had a lot of songs. When the band went in originally and recorded AppetiteFor Destruction, I think they recorded, like, 29 songs. So there’s a bunch of other music that was left over that didn’t make the first record. I think there are only 11 songs on the first record.”
“In fact, I think they’re trying to get a single out any day now, so you may hear something very, very soon.”
Mayhue’s statement echoed guitarist Slash’s message in late October, who confirmed that the band wanted to release some leftover recordings first before getting more new materials out.
Guns N’ Roses is currently touring Europe through July before heading to the North America tour that spans another three months. Mayhue hinted that the band will most likely hit the studio after the world tour.
Before an official new single, Slash made an appearance in a new music video from Barbie dropped just recently.
Guns N’ Roses’ tickets and tour info can be found on their official website.
Barbie will hit the theaters on July 21.
