Dua Lipa is nearly finished with her third album and is said to deliver the album in 2024.

Speaking with T Magazines, Lipa revealed that her next album “will still be pop,” but she has developed a new sound inspired by 1970s-era psychedelia. She’s reportedly working with Kevin Parker of Tame Impala, which she “confirms by denying”: “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”

Lipa’s long-await upcoming album has come across a few bumps in the past. Speaking with Variety last winter, Lipa “felt like” she was “halfway done,” but the project has “taken a complete turn” as she carried on working on it.

Lipa has long been teasing her upcoming album to be something completely different. “It’s different sonically,” she specified, “and there’s more of a lyrical theme. If I told you the title, everything would make sense - but I think we’ll just have to wait.”

Recently, Lipa appeared in Greta Gerwig’s Barbie as a mermaid Barbie, where she shared a disco-inspired soundtrack “Dance The Night.”
