Gully definitely had some fun playing around with elements. “The View” is orchestrated in such a spirited way, that you could trace the variants and evolvement of the song. His jazz-fusion that embraces elements from R&B, rock n roll, and pop gives an overall laid-back vibe, effortlessly waving his magical wands as it becomes drastic and magnificent.

Gully has a charm that puts the spotlight on his sounds wherever he goes. Probably for him to be such a thrill-driven artist that gets bored easily has something to do with it. His massive imagination and the craving for something more exciting manifested in a vibrant way in “The View.”

The view is flourishing, like fireworks, but the special kind that you’ve never seen. The dramatic tension in his vocal delivery is also very rare to see in a young artist. The case is either you’re naturally able to do it or you don’t, similar to the way Gully draws old soul and jazz influences, opening the discussion for a contemporary sonic carnival.

Originally from Portsmouth, a seaside city where the only music scene was piano playing in pubs, “The View” showcases Gully’s natural talent and unlimited potential. It’s definitely not hard to envision his work appearing in a prestigious Hollywood movie that reconnects with the lost arts of the last century in a creative and unexpected manner.

Gully is here to stay, and “The View” is just the beginning.
