Benjamin David Drops Intensive Debut Single “Temporary Lovers”

Benjamin David is a rare vocalist and extremely talented songwriter from the vibrant artistic community of Hackney, London. “Temporary Lovers”, written from his mother’s perspective about grief after losing her life partner (David’s father) to cancer, expresses the pain of losing someone so closer to your heart and the struggle to let go.

Benjamin David shares a special message with the release of “Temporary Lovers”: “My heart goes out to everyone who has lost someone during the pandemic.”

Drawing influences from a spectrum of icons: David Bowie, Prince, Kate Bush, Kendrick Lamar, and Rage Against The Machine. “Temporary Lovers” shares a timeless gaze in its style and portrait. The emotional contrasts are stretched to the furthest end in a slower tempo, where the blend of classic rock, soul, and pop are fully exerted.

David’s voice has a naturally addictive personality. It’s dangerous, mysterious, full of emotions and destruction, yet it’s bathed in golden sunlight with a touch of darkness. His vocal shows a lot of possibilities and potential, gluing the elements together. A voice like his is rare.

Benjamin David also plans on releasing his debut album, in collaboration with Grammy Award-winning producer Kipper in the following month.
