What was the creative process like for this particular 'COCOA BUTTA 3?'

A sense of continuation from the previous COCOA BUTTA titles released. An emotional development of who I am directly and honestly based on my life experiences from past to present.

Could you discuss the lyrical themes or messages conveyed in 'COCOA BUTTA 3?'

Really was aiming for a soulful type of vibe but I like to refer to the whole style of delivery graffiti rap. Still with a relatable direction without trying to be super lyrical. The messages and passages speaking to older brothers and men alike for the whole direction of the heaing process so that is why I chose to call the project "COCOA BUTTA". So alot of the lines are referred from a healing point of recovery process.

What is your personal favorite track from 'COCOA BUTTA 3' and why?

Well, really my favorite track I haven't released yet because that’s on the b side of the project which holds the rest of the tracks as chapter 2. "GABAPENTIN 600MG" I would say I love how I executed my sense of delivery with a unique style that kinda allows me to be creative freely on that beat it fits well. I was in tune what I was saying. But to be fair on this side release, I would say "SUN SHYNEZ which features my other camp artist TROUBLE T HE FIELD KING and NARDESIGNS. It was smooth and soulful connected beautifully.

What do you enjoy most about performing live and connecting with your audience?

When I do perform live, straight perform it raw with no vocals in the background. I mean it doesn't mean anything but my songs are more art-based so I would like to perform my art even with mistakes and off areas. I treat it like band practice when I prepare. I just don’t want to look like some local karaoke recording junkie. I would like someone to pick up on the craft at least.

How do you approach collaborations with other musicians and maintain creative synergy?

Being God-minded and how in his image we reflect. I pick up better with god-body-minded individuals or with a sense of being in tune with themselves. Grown folks with a mature passion for art or the culture itself. Not everybody is the same so the creative outlet and passion comes in to connection but that would be rare to none as I’m not social.
