Sano Hill “CircleWalk”

“CircleWalk” is Sano Hill’s best offering to date. Here, the golden, ever-lasting, and infectious retro vibe reaches an emotional climax to a point that the time has stopped and everything will be forever lavishing and flamboyant. The retro theme has always been a part of Hill’s music, of course, but it seems to be expanding as it is empowered, evolving and becoming something of its own unique identity.

The balance between a jangling, bouncy guitar and a talkative bass is quite fascinating because usually is the other way around. But the two stimulates each other and the music itself in such a different way — a way that sparks intrigues and inspirations. Hill’s vocal is undoubtedly the soul of the piece. It’s flavorful and expressive. It takes the listeners onto a whole new level of musical sensation that is unlike other songs.

“CircleWalk” sees Hill achieving a level of emotional climax that has always been hinted but never revealed. The track sees this side of him fully engaged and immersed in the very expressive, cathartic, almost carnal vocal delivery. It maintains the perfect balance between releasing and desiring, creating a moving, powerful climax in the track that almost feels spiritual.

There are certainly more highlights in the track the more you listen to it. “CircleWalk” is a non-linear sonic box that preserves the best of the past and present. It’s a song that leaves an impression in your head for long as if the buzz will always be a part of your memory.
