Big No No “Letters”

“Letters” is fresh from the Stockholm-based four piece band Big No No’s debut release, Three First Song. In this project, Big No No takes you to the best of all-male rock band - direct, raw, but always inspired.

“Letters” opens with an authentic wicked soundscape made out of broken vintage guitar pedals and distorted ambiance mics in the recording room, swirling while falling into one verse and another. Their spirit of experimentation is high and the sparks between the four bandmasters are very much alive and desiring for more, and for this, they have so much to offer within the short two and a half minutes.

Hysterical vocal in combination with mesmerizing Melodie’s, the guitar soundscapes and their imperfect but authentic performance-based recording style recalls a grungy garage aesthetic. Like an intense love story, it’s powerful, sweet and sweaty. There’s a fire in the track fueled by excitement and passion.

They storm in with good energies, stimulating the listeners to keep on discovering new sounds and changes. Their music is fast-paced, hard-hitting, and tireless. As an all-male band, they the splashing energy similar to Red Hot Chili Peppers, eclectic, desiring while not lack of emotional depth.

They have the type of music that you want to stay in there forever because their energy simply lifts you up and takes you to places that you’d like to be. It’s hard not to imagine how amazing it would be to see the band performed lived and see the spontaneity and the connection between the band and the fans.

Big No No has unlimited potentials. They have the means and the curiosity to keep expanding, converting new and wild ideas into something new sounds as well as writing melodies that would make such a good memory singing along. It seems that the future for Big No No lies in bigger stages.
